Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging

Thermography is the only way to give a visual map of inflammation throughout your body.

Do you know if you have chronic inflammation and where it could be hiding? Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (Thermography) creates images that illustrate heat patterns in the body. Thermography is amazingly effective at detecting severity of a disease when used on a consistent basis. Adding an infrared scan to your annual routine could be greatly beneficial.

Once a baseline is established, comparisons can catch diseases before you even experience symptoms. Thermography can also track your progress if you are currently undergoing pain management and treatment.

What is Thermal Imaging?

Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (Thermography) creates images that illustrate heat patterns in the body. This is done by a digital camera that records infrared radiation that is emitted off of the body. The camera reads the temperature and creates a picture for us. The pictures are interpreted for any abnormal heat patterns, which could be a sign of disease. It is important to note that Medical Thermology Practitioners are trained and licensed to interpret these scans. Do not confuse us with Non-Medically licensed alternative Practitioners who may also offer Thermography but are not licensed to interpret them.

Meet Our Thermography Partner

The Well of Life Center is proud to partner with Breanne of Guardian Thermography to bring you this wonderful service.

Guardian Thermography

Breanne is the owner of Guardian Thermography and a certified thermographer through Thermography Solutions Group LLC. She also has an Associate of Science Registered Nurse Degree. After spending a few years at home raising her family and trying to have a more holistic approach to life, Breanne started to learn more about preventative and natural medicine. She herself had a thermography scan and realized how beneficial they are. Breanne’s mission is to bring this non-invasive scan to as many people as possible to help with early detection and prevention of diseases. As a registered nurse, Breanne’s passion early on was helping people and giving them the tools to be the best version of themselves.

Prevention is the Key to Good Health

Inflammation is a precursor to many types of diseases such as Cancer, Arthritis, High Blood Pressure, Stroke, etc. Early detection of inflammation may help prevent many negative health issues in the future. Thermography is a proactive and preventative method for detecting diseases.

Breast Cancer Prevention

Women often think that having Mammograms done is a way to prevent cancer. It is a way to see cancer after it has already formed into a lump. More often than not, women feel a lump themselves and then go in for a Mammogram. It is not the mammogram finding the lump, it is the patient.

Thermography has been an FDA-approved adjunct to mammography for breast cancer screening since 1982. When two screening methods are used together, finding breast cancer early on goes up to about 95%.

Thermography for the Entire Body

Thermography can detect arthritis early on, treatment can be established to help before further degeneration occurs. Back and neck pain show up as red or white. This can help an individual target the source of their pain.

Thermography can detect Sinus Inflammation, TMJ, gum disease, and infected teeth. The immune system can be observed at the levels of T1 & T2 in the spine. Levels of heat in that region can indicate immune dysfunction, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and aching joints. Digestive disorders such as IBS, Diverticulitis and Chron’s Disease are often visible in Thermal Imaging. Address Inflammation in your gut early on and restoring your health is much more likely.

Heart Disease Prevention

Thermography is able to assess inflammation in the Carotid Arteries, which could be a precursor to stroke and blood clots. If inflammation or an occlusion of the carotid artery is visible, additional testing is highly recommended.

Prevention is key for a long healthy life. Discover where inflammation is hiding in your body before it turns into a major problem.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect?

Arrive on time to fill out all paperwork. Be sure to avoid heavy exercise, deodorant, spicy foods, hot beverages, body creams/lotions, gum-chewing, and any tight fitting clothing. Most appointments take around 30 minutes.

Do I need a doctor to read my scan results?

Medical Thermology Practitioners are trained and licensed to interpret these scans. Do not confuse us with Non-Medically licensed alternative Practitioners who may also offer Thermography but are not licensed to interpret them.

I'm not at the age where mammograms are recommended. Should I bother?

Thermography is especially appropriate for younger  women between 30 and 50 whose denser breast tissue makes it more difficult for  mammography to pick up suspicious  lesions. This test can provide a ‘clinical  marker’ to the Doctor or Mammographer that a specific area of the breast needs particularly close examination. The faster a  malignant tumor grows, the more infrared radiation it generates. For younger women in particular, results from DITI screening  can lead to earlier detection and ultimately, longer life.
